Very confusing user interface. I asked to be included in the hub, "Mariners" and it was accepted yesterday. Today I am not a member of that hub.
Why is this so hard?

I'm sorry for the confusion. First let me suggest that you watch the New User Video to get an idea of how to move around MemberHub: http://youtu.be/juZTWKWxH7o
So when you were "accepted" did you get an email notification? You should have received an email and there should be a link in that email which joins you to the hub.
I know that the join process for a hub can be a bit "tricky" if the hub requires hub administrator approval.
I'd be happy to schedule a quick screen share to help get to the bottom of this too...if you're interested an available.
