Can't create an Account

I'm trying to create an account and it gives me an error message. I put ***@earthlink.net in the email address field and it says errors out. Please see the attached screenshot.

   Hi Bob, I see that you're trying to create an account with the Cary Family YMCA. It must be that they've entered another email address for you or they haven't entered it at all.

   You need to contact the program leader at the Cary Y to see what email address (if any) they've put into this system.

   As it stands right now, ***@earthlink.net is not in the system and for security reasons, it will not just let you create an account and get access to their portal.

   Does that make sense?
