uploading photos
I was able to upload my personal profile photo very easily. But when I tried to upload a few photos for the "photo" section, I created a name for the photo group, and then I tried to click on the blue rectangle: "upload album", and nothing happens.

Patrice, may I know what browser and version you are using? I'll look into this for you. Thank you.

So it appears as though that is Firefox 3.6.8 on Windows XP operating system. Can you confirm that? Also, just double checking that you actually dragged some photos onto the upload section before attemping to upload. In case it's not obvious (and I apologize if it is) you have to choose photos to upload first, before the Upload Album button is even clickable. Now assuming you did select photos and you're able to click teh Upload Album button...are you saying it just freezes? Can you or your husband help get a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Thanks!

We also have a newer machine with Windows 7 so I tried uploading photos on this machine also using Firefox 3.6.8 and was successful. On the Windows XP
(SP2) machine the upload area is missing (see attached screenshot). We were able to determine that the problem was that the XP machine did not have a recent enough Java 2 runtime enviornment. I am not sure why the app didn't detect that but once we downloaded the most recent version the upload function worked correctly.
Thanks for all you help

Thanks Patrice, for this follow up. Interesting that you were not given a warning there. I will look into the Java applet that we use for uploading and see if there is an issue. I wonder if it's the browser's responsibility or the applet's responailbity to tell the user.
Glad you're all set. Thanks!
