We have decided to use an online tool called MemberHub.com. MemberHub helps organizations create one central online place for staff and members to communicate, collaborate and coordinate in a private and safe environment.
Through the use of online, private “Hubs” (centralized place for communication), MemberHub will allow you to:
- Receive instant notifications on your cell phone for last minute requests or cancellations
- Communicate with other members and the staff through online discussions (ex. Shared interests, prayer requests, suggestions, encouragement, logistics and planning)
- Upload and share files, photos, and documents of any kind
- Access the latest documents, newsletters, updates
- Share a calendar with automatic event reminders
So what does this mean?
Shortly, you will receive an e-mail invitation from MemberHub.com inviting you to join your hub in the system. Simply click the provided link in the e-mail and follow the instructions (it's pretty straightforward). To ensure that members and staff can take advantage of all that MemberHub has to offer, please complete your full profile upon joining the system. This means:
- Visit http://memberhub.com/profile
- Fill in your Mobile Phone, select your provider and check the
"Allow text messaging"
- Provide any other contact information needed to reach you
